The Owner

Hey, I’m Eric, the heart behind Platinum Private Bartending! I founded this brand in 2025 after about 10 years working in the hospitality industry. I started in fast-food, quickly working my way up the ranks into management. When I turned 21, I was naturally drawn in the world of alcohol and began bar-backing at the restaurant I worked in (where every good bartender starts). For months I studied how to count my pour, which vodkas are gluten free, how to get all the acids out of an orange peel, how to clarify cocktails and batch them, etc. I was quickly obsessed with the art of cocktails! When I finally became a bartender, the passion didn’t end. Each time a guest told me that I made the best old fashioned or the perfect dirty martini, it fueled my desire to continue pouring love and perfectionism into each glass, I began to channel my creativity by combining new ingredients and concocting new recipes to share with patrons.

I’m drawn to drinks because of the complex stories each one has. Some spirits go through years of aging, whereas others have over 100 different botanicals included in their flavor profile. When adding simple ingredients to a cocktail, you are retelling century old stories in a glass. Stories of how these recipes originated and how these drinks have brought people together. I think that’s the coolest part of the art of cocktails.

This work is personal to me - and after working in a variety of settings from restaurant bars to private events, I knew I wanted to create a brand that offered a human touch to every pour; garnished with creativity and care.
